Colinton Nurseries Limited has the principal objective of providing meaningful pre-school education and child care within a safe, friendly and caring nursery environment.
The important thing to recognise with your child’s education is that the sooner it can begin – the better.
Every parent wants to give their child the best possible start in life. Children attending primary school after having the benefit of a nursery education have a head start on those who do not.
We believe in taking what a child can do as the starting point to their education. Children progress and respond in different ways, and we aim to create an environment that is tailored to accommodate each child’s stage of development, and is flexible enough to be adapted to suit his or her individual needs.

The Colinton Difference

Just as love, time, and attention will bring their rewarding responses from a young child in the comforting environment of the home, so the situation at nursery must match this devotion to their happiness and well-being if it is to be a worthwhile experience.
Partnership with parents.
We believe that working in partnership with parents is vital for each child to reach his or her potential. It is our policy to seek and share information with parents regarding their individual child’s development. We aim, where possible, to speak to each parent daily.
Parents are always welcomed to discuss any issue with management/staff regarding their child.

Our Fantastic Team
We have a dedicated staff who use their individual talents to direct the childrens’ energy into socially, physically, and intellectually stimulating channels.
Our staff is carefully chosen to provide the highest level of care and education through a balance of qualifications and experience.
Staff members participate in regular in-house meetings and attend external courses to ensure that their skills and knowledge are developed and kept up-to-date.
Staff are encouraged and provided with the opportunities to continue their professional development through various training programmes. Non-qualified staff are encouraged and assisted to become fully qualified.
